LDS Sunday Thought - Patriarchal Blessings
Thought this was an interesting quote that I had not thought about before. Thought you might find it interesting, too.
President Monson advises us, "A patriarchal blessing literally contains chapters from your book of eternal possibilities. I say eternal, for just as life is eternal, so is a patriarchal blessing. What may not come to fulfillment in this life may occur in the next." (Your Patriarchal Blessing: A Liahona of Light," Ensign, November 1986, 65).

First Presidency Fact Matching Game
For Sharing Time yesterday, we played a First Presidency Fact Matching Game (to go along with our April theme of "I Will Follow the Prophet".) The children (especially Senior primary) really enjoyed it.
I am going to post it on our blogsite, so that you continue on with this game in your homes and the teachers can use it, too.
The simple version is just reading these master questions aloud and having them guess who you are talking about. (Click on the link below for a printable Word document).
If you want to do the full game (like pictured above), we had each class have a set of pictures and they would hold up which person they thought we were talking about. The link is below for the long answers that you see on the board.
